OT: Theme Sections App Refund Policy

This policy applies to OT: Theme Sections app. We reserve the right to update this policy at any time.

One-Time Purchases

All one-time purchases — including sections, templates, and blocks — are final and non-refundable. Because these digital products are delivered and usable immediately after purchase, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges.

We encourage you to preview all designs in our app library before purchasing to ensure they meet your needs. If you experience any issue that prevents a purchased item from functioning as described, please contact our support team and we’ll work to resolve it.

Plus Plan (Subscription)

Free Trial

The Plus plan includes a free trial period. During the trial, you will not be charged. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends, and no payment will be processed.

Refund Requests

A refund can only be approved when a major problem has occurred with your account, resulting in data loss or serious disruption. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the charge in question.

Please note that we have no obligation to provide a refund in the following situations:

  • You have changed your mind about the app
  • You purchased it by mistake
  • You only intended to use the app for a short period of time
  • You do not have sufficient expertise to use the app
  • You are requesting a goodwill refund
  • You are requesting refunds for prior billing cycles

All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Requesting a refund for your subscription also means that you will cease using OT: Theme Sections’ paid plan(s).

  • To downgrade to the Free plan, visit OT: Theme Sections app > Pricing page and downgrade from there.
  • To uninstall OT: Theme Sections, please refer to our uninstall guide.

How to Request a Refund

If you’ve encountered a problem with the app, we can often investigate and restore any affected data — but only while the app is still installed in your store. Once uninstalled, we may not be able to assist.

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Verify that you case complies with our Refund Policy.
  • Step 2: Contact our support team via live chat in the app or submit a ticket through our Contact Us page.
  • Step 3: Provide your billing details and confirm your payment method.
    • We need the Shopify bill for the requested billing cycle of your store. Based on that, we will have more clues about the case and detect the issue better. You can download the Shopify bill via: Shopify admin > Settings > Billing > Select “Billing for target period” > Download. Alternatively, you can take a full screenshot of the bill details page.
    • Confirm your payment method is active. Once a refund is approved, the amount will be returned to the bank account or payment method registered with your Shopify store. Please ensure it is still active and free of disputes.

Our support team will acknowledge your request and may ask for additional details if needed. Please allow up to 2 business days for an initial response. Once all information is gathered, we will coordinate with the core team and Shopify to process your request.

How Refunds Are Processed

Once your request is approved, the refund process depends on the status of your billing cycle:

  • If the billing cycle has already been paid: We will process the refund directly through Shopify’s billing system.
  • If the billing cycle has not yet been paid: You may either wait until the payment is processed so we can issue a refund, or receive app credits instead.

Approved refunds will appear on your Shopify invoice. Processing time may vary depending on your payment method.
