The Challenge

The bigger Rémi ’s business became, the higher the demand, which made limitations of their original ecommerce platform – ShopApplication- more apparent.

The company was operating on ShopApplication, which is “a little-known French CMS that’s barely used, even in France,” said Rémi.

ShopApplication was great at the start, but as Naturellement Bio goes global, things get more complicated. Though built in 2003, the platform is quite modest in reputation, compared to Shopify, a platform born in 2006. Plus, the customer base of ShopApplication has about 5,500 websites, while Shopify has already established its crowded active merchants, more than 2,5M websites, in Q2 2025.

As a result, the document, support resource, and community of ShopApplication are way less active than Shopify. Since Naturellement Bio has higher expectations in customization, this is a constraint due to rigid templates and limited design options.

Though the old software is 100% French, it is a must to move to a new platform, which is Shopify. And to start that journey to a customized store look, Rémi chose Eurus.

The Solution

After researching various eCommerce options, Naturellement Bio decided that Shopify offered the best combination of flexibility, reliability, and growth potential. The next crucial decision was selecting a theme that would showcase their products while delivering an exceptional user experience.

Start working with the Omni Themes team from mid-July 2024, by the end of the same month, Naturellement Bio has their store launched with a tailored theme design and set up by Eurus Team.
